The MB&F M.A.D.2 “Green” celebrates two decades of creative partnership between Maximilian Büsser and designer Eric Giroud, debuting in March 2025 as the second release in the playful M.A.D.Editions line. Offered to the public through a raffle system, this edition stands out for its vibrant green livery and inventive “turntable-inspired” design that channels the spirit of 1990s club culture.

Housed in a 42 mm stainless-steel case about 12.3 mm thick, the watch has smooth, pebble-like contours and dual domed sapphire crystals for both the dial and caseback, with a modest 30 m water-resistance rating. Inside beats the La Joux-Perret G101 automatic calibre, upgraded with a bespoke MB&F module to display bi-directional jumping hours and trailing minutes, offering a robust 64-hour power reserve.

Its visual identity is pure whimsy: the vinyl-textured main dial and raised hour-minute “platters” echo a DJ’s turntable, while the luminous stroboscopic outer rotor—visible from both sides—doubles as part of the winding system. Unconventional metal hour markers, shaped like guitar picks or almond “eyes,” complete the playful look.
