Hublot Big Bang Sang Bleu 415.NX.2027.VR.1704.MXM18

This is one of the most distinctive collaborations in modern watchmaking — a piece designed with tattoo artist Maxime Büchi, bringing his geometric art style into a fully three-dimensional watch case. The 45mm titanium case is faceted with sharp, sculptural lines, and this version is fully set with diamonds across the case and bezel, giving it a striking mix of industrial design and jewelry-level finishing.

On the dial, the traditional hands are replaced with layered geometric disks — each rotating to indicate hours, minutes, and seconds. It takes a moment to read at first, but that’s the whole idea: it turns time-telling into visual art. Inside is the HUB1213 Unico-based movement, offering a 72-hour power reserve and steady reliability underneath all the design work. The watch is paired with a rubber and leather strap featuring Sang Bleu patterns, completing the overall theme.

A few interesting facts: the Sang Bleu project started when Hublot wanted to reinterpret time display through contemporary art, resulting in this now-iconic geometric style used across multiple Big Bang versions. Each element — from the hands to the case facets — is drawn directly from Maxime Büchi’s tattoo language. And despite the heavy artistic presence, the watch still maintains Hublot’s core identity through its modular case construction and use of modern materials.
