Saint Laurent and Girard-Perregaux collaborate on a limited release of the Casquette, a unique timepiece with a rich history in Swiss watchmaking. Girard-Perregaux’s legacy includes pioneering digital technology with the 1971 Caliber GP-350 quartz movement. The original LED display Casquette, featuring the Caliber 395 quartz movement, gained popularity in 1976-1978. Last year, GP introduced the Casquette 2.0 with the more efficient GP-03980 quartz technology. The new limited release, redesigned by Saint Laurent’s Creative Director Anthony Vaccarello for the Rive Droite line, boasts a black ceramic and PVD-treated titanium case with the Saint Laurent signature. This retro-inspired watch offers various functions, including hours, minutes, seconds, day and date display, month, year, chronograph, second time zone, and a discreet date feature.
