Collector’s Insight

For me, this is Panerai at its simplest and probably where the Radiomir works best. A big cushion-shaped case, wire lugs, black sandwich dial and a hand-wound movement — there really isn’t much else going on.

Despite the 45mm size, the Radiomir has a very different character from the Luminor. It feels cleaner and a little more vintage, without the signature crown guard dominating the case. The PAM183 is an older Panerai that has aged well, and I think its simplicity is exactly what makes it appealing today.
