Collector’s Insight

The BR 02 comes from a period when Bell & Ross was making some seriously interesting professional watches. This is a proper 1,000m diver with an internal rotating bezel, but what I like is that they didn’t simply follow the usual dive-watch formula. The chunky, almost instrument-like case has a very distinct Bell & Ross identity, while the blue dial gives an otherwise serious tool watch a little more character. It’s definitely not a small watch, but the curved case makes it surprisingly comfortable on the wrist. Looking at it today, I actually miss this side of Bell & Ross.
